Slam Nation

I didn't know a lot about spoken word peotry before, so I found a lot of things interesting. Like the styles of the peoms and the way people said the poems. I thought it was really cool when the people did a collaborative poem and there were a lot of sound effects going on. Also on how you say the poem effects the mood and how the poem should be precieved. Like the Asian man who read a poem about Asian sterotypes it was meant to be funny but also serious at the same time. Like what he was saying had a deep meaning but the way he said it made it kind of humorus.
